October Release
Release Date: October 7, 2026
This release is about how the platform looks, and how safely it holds on to your session.
One theme across every app. A single Light / Dark / System setting now drives the Console, Agent UI, Catalog, Dashboards and Reports, Admin, Live Chat, Virtual Agent, Virtual Agent Management, Knowledge Management, Org Administration and VoiceIQ. A quick toggle and a palette picker sit in the header, and the choice follows you from one app to the next. Light mode keeps the palette you already know.
Sessions survive a bad network. A dropped connection or a slow token refresh no longer signs you out — only a refused or expired session does. After signing out and back in, you return to the page and the theme you left.
Shared browsers stay separate. When a different person signs in on the same browser, the previous user's cached menus, roles, filters and drafts are cleared, so one person's view can no longer surface under another person's login.
Tickets keep themselves current. Notes, History and Linked Tickets refresh live in every ticket layout, and a ticket opens faster because it no longer loads every linked ticket just to show a count.
You will be asked to sign in once. The first time you load the platform after this release, locally cached preferences reset once and you are asked to sign in again. This happens only on the first load.
Because this release introduces the shared storage guard, the browser has no recorded owner the first time you open it. Locally cached, user-scoped data is cleared once — unsaved filter drafts, local view choices, cached menus and roles — and you are asked to sign in again. After that, your settings persist as normal and temporary network errors no longer end your session.
Appearance
Light, Dark and System Modes
Every app now reads one shared theme setting.
- A quick light/dark toggle and a Mode / Palette picker sit in the header
- System follows your operating system setting
- Your choice is remembered and applies across apps, not per app
- The page no longer flashes the wrong mode while loading
Light mode keeps the familiar production palette. The visible changes to it are the contrast and typography corrections described below.
Palette Picker
Alongside Light and Dark, a palette picker is available from the same header menu.
Brand Colour for the Console
White-label configuration accepts a console brand colour. In dark mode, a logo that is itself dark is placed on a neutral chip so it stays legible against the header.
Contrast and Typography
- Colours that failed accessibility contrast in light mode have been darkened
- All apps now use the Inter typeface on a single type scale
- Table cells use consistent padding, and headers, sidebars and tables are styled consistently in dark mode
Smaller Screens
Layouts were corrected for 1280 and 1366 px displays in the Console, Dashboards and Reports, Knowledge Management and Virtual Agent Management, where content was previously clipped or forced a horizontal scroll.
Tickets
Live Updates
Notes, History and Linked Tickets now refresh on their own in every ticket layout, including when Notes sits inside Ticket Details. Updates also refresh on demand when you return to a browser tab, and pause while the tab is hidden.
Faster Ticket Opening
Opening a ticket now loads a lightweight count of linked tickets rather than fetching every linked ticket in full.
Notes and Attachments
- A file attached while composing a note — including
.json,.zipand.msg— now appears as a named, clickable chip in both the editor and the posted note, including on notes saved earlier in the older format - File chips stay clickable after the note is processed on the server
- A note that contains only an attachment is now accepted
- Attachment previews resolve correctly from the note, the attachment list and the preview overlay
- The notes list no longer flashes a loading placeholder after you attach a file or add a note
Log Time
- Time logged from the timer is saved again. Previously the timer could not identify which ticket it belonged to, so nothing was stored
- Users who are not configured actors on a ticket can no longer start or stop the timer, log time manually, or restart the timer by navigating directly to it
Dashboards and Reports
Performance
- Chart data loads only when a card comes near the viewport
- Set-up work for a dashboard's datasets is prepared once and shared across all of its charts
- Catalog look-ups are deferred until after the dashboard has rendered
Reliability
- Dashboards and cards no longer get stuck showing Loading
- The report status stream reconnects quietly after an interruption, and stops on sign-out
- Several chart types no longer fail on empty or missing data
Report Accuracy
- Report date ranges are now interpreted in the tenant's time zone
- The Log Time dataset returns correct results
- Status on non-SLA metrics is calculated from the end date
- A report joining fields across entities that cannot be joined now explains the problem instead of failing with a server error
Reports Table
The Actions column stays pinned to the right edge and descriptions wrap, so Download is no longer cut off on narrower screens.
Knowledge Management
- Create Article no longer scrolls horizontally on 1280 and 1366 px screens, and the editor is no longer clipped when the toolbar wraps
- You are now asked to confirm before discarding the Upload Documents drawer
- Body text returns to its normal weight rather than being forced to a heavier one
Virtual Agent
- Virtual Agent pages follow the shared Light / Dark / Palette setting, with a toggle in the header
- When the loader cannot complete, it now shows a message with a retry instead of spinning indefinitely, and it dismisses itself for tenants that do not require sign-in
- Nothing is retained between users on a shared browser
- In Virtual Agent Management, the Create Trigger drawer no longer overflows the screen, so the Audience row and the action buttons stay reachable
- In Virtual Agent Management, an expired session now sends you to sign-in rather than leaving a blank page
Live Chat
- Live Chat follows the shared theme, with a contrast pass across chat sessions, queues, review and analytics screens
- The Incoming and Active chat panels now explain themselves when empty instead of showing nothing
Admin
- Admin follows the shared theme, with contrast corrected across the sidebar, list panels, tables, entity cards, Advance Search and Manage Roles
- White-label data that has become corrupted in local storage no longer crashes the app; it is discarded and fetched again
Org Administration
- Org Administration adopts the shared theme, with a Light / Dark preference stored against your account
- The Users page presents its views in a single row, and import actions appear only on user lists where they apply
VoiceIQ
- VoiceIQ adopts the shared theme, with a Light / Dark / System picker in the header
- The session expiry warning now appears only on a genuine expiry, and the dialog is no longer hidden behind other elements
- Onboarding tours complete properly and dismiss on the first close
- The Call Logs date picker is positioned correctly, and the Audit Log empty state reads correctly
Security
- Quick filter changes and deletions check ownership before applying
- Ticket live-update streams are now authorised the same way as opening the ticket itself, and their contents are filtered against the viewer's own roles
Fixes
- The Unread badge no longer reads another sign-in's cached user, which could previously invert read and unread state when an agent console and the end-user portal shared a browser
- Restore Default in Show Fields no longer hangs
- Custom action icons in tables fall back to a link icon instead of a broken image
- Saved colours are stored as plain hex values, and previously saved values in the wrong format are repaired automatically
- The Knowledge Integrations toolbar wraps, so Add Integration is no longer clipped
- Reload on a report error now re-renders the failed view instead of reloading the whole console
- A bare
/automationsaddress now redirects correctly - The page recovers on its own when part of the application fails to load, instead of spinning
- Inbox layout fixes at 1280 to 1366 px for the inline filter Save button, ticket ID wrapping, the header title, canned notes and the Expand label
- Tenants on certain host names no longer stick on Loading in Knowledge Management and Live Chat
- Failed scheduled reports are now marked Failed rather than being left pending indefinitely
